General wisdom,and education about tonearms:
- There are many pages on the net, but the source that I have learnt the most from, is the blog of Alex Korf (Korfaudio.com)! I admire his scientific approach and the exiting development story to his new tonearm concept.
https://korfaudio.com/blog100 speaks about his “Audio Priorities”. I could not agree more!
Very helpful is the “Compliance/Effective Mass Calculator” https://korfaudio.com/calculator If you “play” with the available data on your cartridge, you will recognize how unimportant effective mass of your tonearm really is. This corresponds to my experience with many cartridges having different compliances.
